Visiting the Merck company’s laboratory
The president of Merck Russia, Jurgen Koenig, once visited us. He gave us gifts for our new computer room as we chatted over tea and cake about its grand opening.
When Mr. Koenig found out that students in the Step Up Centre are studying chemistry, he invited them to the Merck laboratory.
The trip took place not too long ago. Together with their chemistry teacher, Sergei Vadimovich, students carried out real experiments that can’t really be carried out in the Step Up classrooms… perhaps fortunately! 🙂
