Graduate reunion

On 14 July, the Step Up Orphan Opportunity Centre organised our first reunion for graduates. We invited everyone who has ever worked or studied with us.

An engineer who is only called by his first name at work…

A traveller who has been across Europe…

A conversational master who is already pursuing his second degree…

Young parents, student psychologists, office managers…

Experienced couriers and cool baristas…

We don’t know how their lives would have developed if they hadn’t come to the Step Up Orphan Opportunity Centre, but they did come, and therefore, all is well.

We see confident, beautiful individuals in them. We know that over these years, we loved them and believed in them – and they believed in us, too. Now, we are pleased to see what they have become.

We are proud of them and we are glad they can manage without us and live independently. And how wonderful that we can all spend a lovely time together. We will arrange similar meetings every year – everyone is invited to come: to love and to eat!

Thank you to everyone, to the good weather, and to the hospitable St Andrew’s Anglican Church – it was so cosy in the courtyard!
