The Football Team
The Step Up football team was formed in 2010 from among the Centre’s students, graduates and volunteers.
They train once a week under the leadership of a professional coach and regularly take part in tournaments and friendly matches with amateur teams from large companies and other organisations (British Embassy, Nike, Linklaters, Clifford Chance and so on).
Involvement in a team game like football teaches Step Up students to relate seriously to one another and fosters responsibility, self-organisation and discipline.
Step Up needs your support in order to be able to help the football team develop. We would like to get a football kit with the Step Up logo and to have enough funds to pay for the rent of an indoor hall for training in the winter months.
