Vladimir Spivakov Foundation sponsors’ concert
On 2nd June at St Andrew’s Anglican Church the traditional charity concert held by sponsors of the Vladimir Spivakov Foundation took place in aid of the Step Up Orphan Opportunity Centre.
We want to express our huge thanks for this support and for coming to the concert. We really love these events because new, interesting people always come and join us, and we get the chance to meet up with friends we haven’t seen for a long time. The minute preparations for the concert begin, interesting people start appearing.
It was so lovely to see friendly faces – that is, our friends and volunteers. We did, however, have an unexpected guest – the famous historian Carlo Ginzburg!
The Centre raised 35,750 roubles from the concert which is over 100 academic hours for our students.
Thank you to all the young musicians and to the Vladimir Spivakov Foundation. A huge thank you to Yulia for preparing snacks for our guests and to the lovely Dina Magnat for the photos!
