Our Distance Learning programme: an update
Dear friends,
We have some important news: a graduate of an orphanage in the town of Kirov, Zhenya – a participant of our Distance Learning project – has gained a place at Vyatsky State University!
The Distance Learning project is a joint project between the Step Up Centre and the foundation “Volunteers helping child-orphans”. As part of the project Zhenya had Skype lessons in Russian language, maths and physics, preparing for university.
We are so grateful for and congratulate Zhenya’s teachers – Galina Semenova, Dasha Tarayan and Pavel Mosharev. But the main congratulations, of course, are saved for Zhenya – hooray!
